Natalie is a true multi-hyphenate —an Actor, Playwright, Filmmaker, and Producer who loves telling a great story. Selected acting credits include Elsa, in The Road to Mecca, and the lead actress Natalie Newman, in the award winning indie feature Nosey Parker, Hermia in As You Like It, Jean in The Early Girl, as well as numerous voice-overs and principal roles in Law & Order and Exiled, The Law & Order movie. Her solo show I had Laryngitis but Now I speak was produced by Todo Con Nada, and her plays A Long Ways Home, and God’s Good Earth had readings and workshops at Naked Angels writing group, and Puerto Rican Traveling Theater’s Playwrights group among others. Natalie directed and produced, Strike Dice! Betting on my Father, an independent feature documentary, which was funded in part by a New York State Council of the Arts grant and is distributed by Pro-Quest. She has also field-produced many short documentaries for "Studio Universal"—the American movie channel—in Rome, Italy with titles such as Comics & Cinema (where she got to interview Stan Lee and Frank Miller, and 80’s Movies where she interviewed Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCarthy among others!). Combining her love of the arts with public service, Natalie has produced many successful events in her hometown of South Orange/Maplewood, NJ including: Art in the Park, in South Orange, Sunday Jazz Series, Mayfest &, Girls Night Out in Maplewood, NJ, and senior citizen programming with The South Orange Library featuring John Leland, the award winning NY Times writer and author of Happiness is a Choice you Make. She has an MFA in theater from Florida State, Asolo Conservatory and has studied Meisner with John Ulmer of the Neighborhood Playhouse and Kathryn Gately, Improv with Carol Sills, and playwriting with Matt Hoverman. Now, she’s returning to her roots and her pen, with a renewed mission, to wield her own voice and ensure her next great story is written, directed, and brought to life by her.

SYNOPSIS
“I'm Your Man” is a one-person show about a woman in mid-life who has decided it’s now or never to become who she truly is. Can she finally summon the courage to stand up to her controlling soon to be ex-husband, her toxically positive sister, and her video-game addicted teenage son. Can she surprise herself and walk away to an uncertain future? "I'm Your Man" is the galvanizing story of a woman who steps into the unknown, not out of despair, but out of an exhilarating will to grow and build a better future.
